Bele Chere Music Festival in Asheville, NC

Over 375,000 people attend Bele Chere, making it the Southeast’s largest free outdoor festival.  For three days at the end of July, Asheville, NC’s downtown is closed off to traffic and the streets come alive with music, arts, crafts and southern cuisine.  

Popular country, bluegrass, folk, soul, reggae and rock musicians play on six stages in the heart of town, while headliner acts perform at Memorial Stadium Park. Kids will find fun in the Children’s Area and Family Day activities- clowns, carnival rides, storytelling and face painting.
